Burnely

By the 4th minute Harry Maguire had already seen red, it wasn't a red card that can be complained about. It was the slightest touch to bring down the Burnley man but in the position he was on the pitch and the rules of the game. He had to go. Demari Gray was removed and Wes Morgan brought on. Despite Morgan being on the pitch and his Morganism's Leicester took the league with a superb James Maddison free kick. Burnley however equalized and until half time looked the better side. The second half City looked tired a little bit but had some moments. Towards the end of the  second half, Burnley had been constantly pressuring City when somehow City ended up in the Burnley half, City won a corner which Burnley repelled and Tielemans got hold of the ball on the right flank. Looked up and crossed it in to the box, it took a slight deflection on its way but Morgan stuck his head on and the net ripled. Much to my girls confusion I was bouncing around the living room. City had 2 minutes t...

Fulham

The second game of the Brendan Rodgers reign as Leicester manager against Fulham, Fulham are likely to be relegated in April, their form has been shocking, when they fired their first manager of the season and they brought in Claudio Ranieri, Fulham's form seemed to get worse, so Ranieri was sacked and Scott Parker was brought in as caretaker. For the first 30 minutes City looked great, the football was slick and Tielemans ran the game. City scored after Vardy set Tielemans up and from there seemed to take the foot off the gas. At half time my mum even text me to say she was enjoying the game. We all were, except for the the Puel in people they still were bitter. The second half though. Scott Parker made a change and Fulham looked a different side. Fulham equalized with their first shot on goal after dreadful defending by first Chilwell and then Maguire. Neither of whom looked like England defenders more like schoolboys with that. Shocking. For the large portions of the second half...

The debut against Watford

Sunday at 530 I got up to watch City, it was the first game of the Rodgers era, there was a hangover from the Puel error (intentional spelt wrong). The ball still moved far to slow, movement was still poor and service to Vardy was still lacking. I guess it's easier to sum it up with bullet points, what I like and what I didn't, so here we go: What I liked: The formation, I did like playing 3-4-2-1, the concept was a good one.  Tielemans, has the vision and should be allowed to what ever he feels he should with the ball as long as it goes forward.  Around the 70th minute, there was a increase in tempo and moving the ball forward, it paid off with Vardy's goal What I didn't like: The formation, Wes Morgan in the centre of a 3 man defence doesn't help the team, he looks slow and he looks cumbersome. The young turkish lad would have been a better choice. How long does Morgan realistic have? He's 35 and not good a footballer, in terms of his ball dis...

Brendan Rodgers

At 5 am in Indiana, my phone and watched started to go crazy, it was 5 am for fucksake, why did I comment on so many facebook posts and why were they going crazy? It was Sibbo for a change responding to a message and blowing me up. Claude Puel had been fired by Khun Top! Top had had enough, Puels dire football, the fans unrest and more importantly the lack of results saw Top fire Puel. It seems like it was coming in the summer regardless but Top hadn't seen City in since New Years day and had heard the crowds unrest at the poor football. The majority rejoiced at Puel's exit but a few loyalists wanted Puel to stay cause he was doing a good job. Yes, there are Leicester fans that stupid. Attention soon went to who would be the next manager, the Puel Loyalists made sarcastic comments about Big Sam coming in, Sam Allardyce who is an expert at keeping sides up when they're in trouble. The early attention looked at Brendan Rodgers who had long been linked with the Leicester Cit...
